- Serves on emerging markets team with a broad focus on global emerging market equity investment strategies.
- Prior to joining Van Eck, served as Head of International Equity for ABN AMRO, responsible for restructuring Asian and European equity cash and derivative distribution to North American institutions.
- Earlier career experience includes several senior roles in research sales, trading, sales trading and portfolio management with a focus on the Asian and European markets for BNP Paribas, UBS Securities and Hill Samuel/BLW in offices based in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Edinburgh.

- Currently serves as investment analyst for Van Eck Emerging Markets Fund and Van Eck VIP Emerging Markets Fund with a specialized focus on the Latin America and Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions; also serves on committee that reviews managers and mandates for a multi-manager absolute return strategy.
- From 2006-2008, served as portfolio manager of Market Vectors ETF Trust, responsible for the Trust's equity portfolios in direct reporting line to the head of the Market Vectors ETF business.
