Van Eck’s equity ETF management team is made up of senior portfolio managers and analysts.  The team is responsible for Van Eck’s equity investments, including portfolio strategy, market analysis, quantitative analysis, optimization strategies and trading of certain over-the-counter equity securities, and other research for Van Eck investment products.

  • Serves as portfolio manager of Market Vectors ETF Trust; responsible for portfolio management of Van Eck’s Market Vectors ETF Trust equity portfolios, reporting to the head of the ETF business. He reviews indices and develops and implements index replication and optimization strategies.
  • Also serves as investment analyst for Worldwide Multi-Managers Alternatives Fund, responsible for manager review, performance attribution, manager mandate changes and risk management.

  • Serves as portfolio manager of Market Vectors ETF Trust since 2007; responsible for portfolio management of Van Eck’s Market Vectors ETF Trust equity portfolios, reporting to the head of the ETF business.
  • Prior to joining Van Eck, he served as Senior Finance Associate followed by Controller of Operations Administrations Division and Corporate Safety for United Airlines. He also served as Management Consultant to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, and prior to that, Financial Analyst for SAM Distribution Co. Ltd.

Jason Jin
  • Serves as Analyst for the Market Vectors ETF Trust, responsible for equity and fixed income research and assists the portfolio management of Van Eck’s Market Vectors ETF Trust portfolios.
  • Has conducted and supervised extensive research in the intraday pricing and trading of certain over-the-counter fixed income securities.
  • Prior to his current role, served as a portfolio administrator for Van Eck.
  • Prior to joining Van Eck, a Portfolio Analyst for Evaluation Associates.
