Gold Team
Van Eck has long been considered a thought leader in the gold-related investment space, with a track record of managing gold investment products dating back to 1968. The investment team employs a flexible, bottom-up approach to identify mining companies with attractive reserves and production levels. Joseph Foster has been involved in managing the firm's flagship gold fund since 1996; he is a trained geologist as well as the Sub-Fund's portfolio manager.
