Der VanEck S&P Global Mining UCITS ETF (GDIG) ist ein OGAW-konformer börsengehandelter Fonds, der in ein Aktienportfolio investiert, um Anlageerträge zu erzielen, die der Wertentwicklung des S&P Global Mining Reduced Coal Index möglichst genau entsprechen.

Der S&P Global Mining Reduced Coal Index misst die Renditen globaler Unternehmen, die hauptsächlich im Abbau von Metallen und Mineralien engagiert sind. Der S&P Global Mining Reduced Coal Index ist ein nach Marktkapitalisierung gewichteter und streubesitzbereinigter Index, der sowohl die Schwellenmärkte als auch die Industrieländer abdeckt.
