Strategic Equity

Morningstar’s moat investing philosophy aims to identify companies that possess a sustainable competitive advantage that may allow them to earn above average returns on capital over a long period of time. The strategy seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of indices developed by Morningstar’s equity research team, which is comprised of more than 100 analysts. VanEck offers access to Morningstar’s moat investing strategy through our large cap ETFs and a mutual fund managed by Peter H. Liao, CFA and Gregory Krenzer, CFA.
