We recently expanded our fixed income offerings with two new funds that focus on investment grade bonds and that rely on Moody’s Analytics research model: VanEck Vectors Moody’s Analytics IG Corporate Bond ETF (MIG) and VanEck Vectors Moody’s Analytics BBB Corporate Bond ETF (MBBB).

In this ETF.com Q&A, Product manager William Sokol discusses what sets these funds apart and how they fit within a portfolio. Topics include:

    • How the Moody’s Analytics credit model works
    • Whether MBBB and MIG could replace a standard, plain vanilla corporate bond exposure in a regular portfolio
    • How these funds seek to provide attractive yield without taking on too much risk
